Black Friday is coming up and we’re all about to be inundated with emails & promotions about sales. Heck, I’m guilty of feeding this beast — this email has a sale in it!
Thursday is also Thanksgiving here in the States, a natural time to pause and practice gratitude before we dive head-long into the holiday season and all the work that comes with wrapping up one year and heading into another.
Take a minute to breathe and be thankful for your business. Be thankful for the website you’ve built, the skills you’ve learned in the last year, the people that have helped you get there. Maybe even take a minute to be thankful for your failures, because they mean you had the opportunity to try. Try being thankful for the goals you didn’t meet, because you still have the opportunity to get there.
I’m babbling now.
