Squarespace is releasing Fluid Engine, a new layout editor for English version 7.1 websites - more info on this to come in the coming weeks.
I’ve updated my Tabs (for Blocks) plugin and Accordion Pro plugin to work with Fluid Engine, these updates are free if you’ve purchased either plugin previously.
I’ve merged the Tabs (for Sections) & Tabs (for Blocks) plugin into a single plugin I’m calling: “Tabs” (big thanks to my ace marketing team for helping me come up with that name)
I’ve created a new tutorial that shows you how to display a GIF as you hover over a video block.

PLUGIN UPDATE: TABS
I’ve combined my Tabs (for Blocks) and Tabs (for Sections) plugin into just one “Tabs” plugin. With this update, the plugin is now compatible with the new Fluid Engine and you can easily build tabs using Sections, Blocks, or from a Blog Collection.
This update is FREE for all current owners of the Tabs (for Blocks) or Tabs (for Sections) plugin. If you have the Tabs (for Blocks) plugin, you can get the update using the same URL and password you received post purchase. If you have the Tabs (for Sections) plugin, new login information is at the top of the installation page for that plugin.
PLUGIN UPDATE: ACCORDIONS PRO
The updated Accordions Pro plugin comes with a whole host of new features, including new design & layout options, more icon choices, a new accordion “builder”, and an ability to use a blog collection as your accordion. This update is free to anyone who has previously purchased the plugin — use the same URL and password that you were given when you purchased it.
NEW TUTORIAL: PLAY GIF WHEN HOVERING OVER VIDEO BLOCK
Simulate playing a portion of your video when you hover over a video block. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to display a GIF when a user hovers over a video block. You’ll need to have a GIF of your video ready for this tutorial to work, I don’t cover creating the GIF in this tutorial.
